Tenor Acoustic Guitars

Text Box: During a recent visit to The Music Room in Cleckheaton, myself and several of the staff members ended up in a discussion about the lack of new, high quality Tenor guitars available. Hence my new offering, the 584mm (23”) scale length Tenor guitar
The guitar is parlor sized with a solid tone wood top combined with scalloped and tapered fan bracing. The bracing has been developed from a Spanish classical pattern and results in a light and tonally responsive guitar
It has 20 frets and is usually tuned CDGA, however you can also tune it to the Octave Mandolin tuning of GDAE, or the “guitar” tuning DGBE. Other possible tunings are “guitar” tuning but transposed up a fourth: GCEA or Slide at: CGCG or DADA. So plenty of options there then!
The sound hole shape is my signature style but can be elliptical, round or heart shaped.
And as standard fit, high quality Schaller or Rubner tuning machines are used, all with a typical cost of £700
